SAILING REGATTA LISBON CUP

Anyone can participate in the regatta—no sailing experience required!
We welcome individual participants, active couples, and corporate teams alike.
REGISTRATION
Racing fleet: Archambault Grand Surprise sailing yachts, with crews of up to 6 people.

Start and finish at Doca de Santo Amaro, Lisbon.
Anyone can participate in the regatta. Special participation terms are available for corporate clients.

Each yacht has a professional racing skipper (a captain from the yacht club), or you can provide your own skipper.

Individual participation in a mixed crew: €320 per person

All participants must check in by 09:30 a.m. If you plan to have breakfast, change clothes, and take photos, we recommend arriving 30 minutes before check-in begins.

Terms and Conditions
Please take note of this information if you plan to participate. We care about your health and safety
  • Age
    You must be at least 16 years old to participate in the regatta.
  • Health
    By registering for the regatta, you confirm that you have no serious health issues
  • Alcohol-free
    You can not participate in the regatta while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • No propaganda
    Political propaganda of any kind, including flags and slogans, is prohibited at the regatta
  • Return
    If you have registered for the regatta and cancel your participation 15 days before it begins, the fee is non-refundable
  • Delays
    Participants who arrive more than 30 minutes late for the pre-race briefing will not be allowed to start

    Is experience required to participate in the regatta?
    A:
    No, no experience is necessary. The yachts will have professional skippers who will train you, explain the basics of sailing races, and work together with the crew to lead you to victory.
  • Q:
    I'm a skipper myself—can I participate in the regatta as a captain?
    A:
    Yes, if you have a group or a potential audience you can invite to join, we recommend chartering the entire yacht. The yacht can accommodate up to 7 people, including the skipper. In this case, you won’t need to hire a skipper.
  • Q:
    Where can I practice beforehand?
    A:
    You can contact us at the Sail Portugal community to inquire about upcoming training sessions. We organize both individual and team training sessions in advance of the LISBON CUP regatta.
